TURUN TUOMIOPÄIVÄ 2023
Turun Tuomiopäivä is an official CrossFit-licensed three day event which will be held in Turku at Urheilupuiston yläkenttä on 17.-19.8.2023.
ELITE-DIVISION
The Elite-division will compete in Turku from Thursday to Saturday, August 17-19, 2023.
The NOBULL CrossFit Games Quarterfinals serves as a qualifier for the 2023 Elite-division. The qualifying period is 17.3.-9.4.2023. Once the qualifiers have concluded and the leaderboard is finalized, invitations to the competition in Turku will be sent to the best 30 men and women (15+15). In addition, 5+5 athletes are invited to compete without qualifiers.
Price for the competitor ticket is €199 + platform fee. The price includes e.g. a coach ticket (including a spectator ticket for two days), t-shirt, goodiebag and lunch. In the main event there will be a cash prize (total prize money 7000€) for the three best athletes.
Invitations to athletes advancing to the on-site competition will be sent by email on April 24th. The competitor place must be confirmed by 30.4. before 6pm (UTC+03:00). All Elite division athletes will receive an information letter by email on week 19.
Cancellation policy
If you have confirmed your place in the competition but you cannot participate, please inform us as soon as possible to info@turuntuomiopaiva.com. We'll try to find an athlete to replace.
Please note that Competition Corner offers insurance for the refund of the competition fee as its own service, if you have to cancel your participation after the deadline. More detailed information about insurance here.
RX-DIVISION
The Open division also known as the RX-division will compete in Turku from Friday to Saturday, August 18-19, 2023. Anyone can participate in the RX-division’s competition (40 men and 40 women), regardless of their sports background or skill level. The most demanding gymnastics movements (ring mu, bar mu and handstand walk) will not be required in the RX-division.
The competitor tickets are sold out. Returned tickets go on sale on the 1st of August at 12 pm (UTC+03:00) in Competition Corner. The sale will happen just as on the first round - available tickets go to the first buyers.
Price for the RX-division competitor ticket is €159 + platform fee. The price includes e.g. a coach ticket (including a spectator ticket for two days), t-shirt, goodiebag and lunch.
Cancellation policy
The athlete may not sell the competitor ticket on. If the athlete cannot compete, the money will be returned to the athlete, in case the matter is reported to info@turuntuomiopaiva.com by July 31st at 12 pm (UTC+03:00) at the latest. The money will be returned within a week from the cancellation, excluding the platform fee. Tickets left unused after July 31st will not be refunded by us.
