TURUN TUOMIOPÄIVÄ 2023
Turun Tuomiopäivä is an official CrossFit-licensed competition that takes place in Turku on the 17-19th of August 2023.

In the covered grandstand, half of the seats are reserved seats (see stands A and B in the picture). You can buy a ticket for these places at the Liveto ticket shop with the product "2-day seat ticket".
Other seats on the area are free to use: on the left side of the competition arena, in the licensed area and on the sides of the covered grandstand.
Children under the age of 12 can enter the event for free when accompanied by an adult (excluding assigned seats).

EVENT CENTER
Hotel Kakola is our accommodation partner and works as Turun Tuomiopäivä Event Center during the event weekend.
Hotel Kakola offers accommodation at a discount price for athletes, volunteers and spectators. Breakfast is included in all rooms.
This year the athlete registration (both divisions) takes place at the Event Center, Hotel Kakola.

Hotel Kakola is a Finnish responsible and unique hotel - it is located on former prison grounds. Hotel Kakola is less than 2 km from the venue, i.e. Turun Urheilupuiston Yläkenttä.

EVENT INFO
ARRIVAL
Urheilupuiston Yläkenttä (address: Paavo Nurmen puistotie 11) is easily accessible when coming from the banks of the river, behind the Turku City Theater along Neitsytpolku. There is a small parking lot on Samppalinnankatu and in addition there are parking spaces on the sides of the streets nearby. We recommend arriving by public transportation, by bike or by foot.
BUYING THE TICKETS
You can buy spectator tickets from this website or from Liveto.fi. There will not be ticket sales at the event so tickets must be purchased in advance online!
FOOD AND DRINK
The venue has several food stalls providing various flavors and a licensed area for serving alcoholic beverages.
ALCOHOL AND SMOKING AREAS
There is a licensed area for drinking at Yläkenttä with an age limit of 18 years. Bringing your own alcoholic beverages to the area and smoking in the area are prohibited. The smoking area is located outside of the gates and is marked on the floor plan.

ACCESSIBILITY
Yläkenttä is located on top of a steep hill and is accessed by sand roads. The venue is an artificial turf soccer field with no stairs. There are no restrooms with unimpeded access. Closest restrooms with unimpeded access are at the Paavo Nurmi stadion approximately 500 meters away. There is a limited number of unobstructed access spectator seats on the short side of the field next to the entrance.
Customers needing an assistant must buy a ticket to the event, but their assistant can enter free of charge with the person being assisted.
SPECIAL ARRANGEMENTS
The event planning is ongoing and taking into account the government’s alignments. The safety and health of competitors, spectators, volunteers and exhibitors is very important to us and we are doing our best to prepare for the situation as well as possible.
It is also possible to watch the competition via live stream.
