Turun Tuomiopäivä is an official CrossFit-licensed competition that takes place in Turku in August 2024. Below you can see the schedule of Turun Tuomiopäivä 2023.

3:45 PM - Event 1 at Kupittaa Velodrome (Hippoksentie 33, 20520 Turku). On Thursday, the Elite division competes without spectators.

Afterparty

The festival atmosphere continues on Friday on Jokilaiva Jenny, and on the main day, Saturday, the biggest afterparty in the history of Turun Tuomiopäivä takes place with the Finnish rapper Aste at the nightclub PRYZM. These parties are not to be missed!🤩

EVENT INFO

ARRIVAL

Urheilupuiston Yläkenttä (address: Paavo Nurmen puistotie 11) is easily accessible when coming from the banks of the river, behind the Turku City Theater along Neitsytpolku. There is a small parking lot on Samppalinnankatu and in addition there are parking spaces on the sides of the streets nearby. We recommend arriving by public transportation, by bike or by foot.

BUYING THE TICKETS

You can buy spectator tickets from this website or from Liveto.fi. There will not be ticket sales at the event so tickets must be purchased in advance online!

FOOD AND DRINK

The venue has several food stalls providing various flavors and a licensed area for serving alcoholic beverages.

ALCOHOL AND SMOKING AREAS

There is a licensed area for drinking at Yläkenttä with an age limit of 18 years. Bringing your own alcoholic beverages to the area and smoking in the area are prohibited. The smoking area is located outside of the gates and is marked on the floor plan.

ACCESSIBILITY

Yläkenttä is located on top of a steep hill and is accessed by sand roads. The venue is an artificial turf soccer field with no stairs. There are no restrooms with unimpeded access. Closest restrooms with unimpeded access are at the Paavo Nurmi stadion approximately 500 meters away. There is a limited number of unobstructed access spectator seats on the short side of the field next to the entrance.

Customers needing an assistant must buy a ticket to the event, but their assistant can enter free of charge with the person being assisted.

SPECIAL ARRANGEMENTS

We take care of general hygiene and health security during the event as well as we can.

The competition will be live streamed.

Pets are not allowed at Yläkenttä.

You can come with a stroller and children under 12 can enter the event for free when accompanied by an adult.
